The Revenue Department has issued a notification to abolish 9 districts and 3 divisions created during the Congress rule. The cabinet had decided on Saturday to dissolve the districts and divisions formed during the Gehlot government. Changes to the boundaries of districts, tehsils, and sub-divisions are permitted only until December 31. After that, restrictions due to the census will come into effect. In light of this, the government has issued a notification regarding changes in the boundaries of districts and divisions.
A notification has been issued to dissolve the districts of Dudu, Kekri, Shahpura, Neemkathana, Gangapur City, Jaipur Rural, Jodhpur Rural, Anupgarh, and Sanchore, along with the divisions of Pali, Sikar, and Banswara, which were created during the Gehlot government.
